This policy explains how the information you provide through the “Tell us about your project” form or by email is processed.

Data collected
- Your project: brand name, business or sector, country and city, number of locations, reasons for the planned development, year the first location opened, approximate annual revenue and currency, profitability, and whether it runs without the founder being there every day.
- Your contact details: full name, email address and, if you provide it, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Information related to the submission: date of the request and the page of the website from which it was sent.
- The content of our exchanges, if you write to us by email.
- The host's technical logs (IP address, page requested, date and time), needed for the operation and security of the website, and kept for a limited period.
Purposes and legal bases
- Reviewing your request, replying to you and, where appropriate, proposing a diagnostic: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Protecting the form against automated submissions and abuse: legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For this purpose, your IP address is used temporarily to limit the number of submissions; it is not stored with your request.
Your data is not sold. It is not used for marketing purposes without your consent.
Recipients
Your data is only accessible to the people at PELONERO Développement and Star Capital LLC in charge of reviewing your request, and to the following technical service providers acting on our behalf:
- Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and technical receipt of form submissions;
- Formagrid Inc., operator of Airtable (United States): recording and tracking of requests;
- Google (Google Workspace): email, receipt of notifications of new requests and email exchanges.
Transfers outside the European Union
Star Capital LLC is established in the United Arab Emirates and its service providers process data, notably in the United States. Transfers to these providers rely on the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for Vercel and Google, and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for Airtable.
Retention period
Requests are kept while they are being reviewed and during the exchanges that follow, then for no more than three years after your last contact. If an engagement is entered into, the necessary data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and then for the applicable statutory retention periods.
Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability with regard to your data, as well as the right to give instructions on what happens to it after your death. To exercise these rights, write to contact@pelonero-developpement.com. We will reply within one month.
If, after contacting us, you believe that your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence; in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Security
Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS) and access to requests is restricted to the people in charge of handling them.
Cookies and third-party content
The website uses neither advertising cookies nor analytics tools. Fonts are hosted on the website itself.
The video “Patrick Pelonero's journey” is only loaded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) after you click the play button; YouTube, a Google service, may then set or read trackers according to its own rules. Links to Instagram and YouTube open third-party websites subject to their own privacy policies.
